We met our goal for the 4 families we adopted for Christmas. Thanks to everyone who showed up and showed out!!!! For all those who donated financially and otherwise, thank you! A Big Shout out to the Dallas KUPEXANS for Adopting one family. Merry Christmas to all in advance!!!!!" Wish her the very best as she navigates between all 4 of the major roles she now occupies:  Wife, Mother, Pharmacist & Actress!! 

Dr. Genevieve Takusi MAKIA turned 40, her marriage turned 10, her wedding gown still fits 2 adorable CARATS after, & her CAT's even more in love with her now than he was a decade ago! The year started for us with a trip back to Cameroon to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of Saker Baptist College, where we taught from 66 to 68, and where we met and married. We wondered if there would be anyone there who knew us, and worried that it would be a big anticlimax and spoil our treasured memories. We arrived at Douala airport to be met by a loud cry of “Mr Haaaand” as not one but 9 ladies, all in matching dresses, met us. All our anxieties evaporated in an instant. Carol was presented with a lovely bunch of tropical flowers and one lady threw her arms around Roger; “You taught me Maths, parallelograms!”, she said. We were looked after overnight, and then driven the 30 miles to Saker the next day.
